Description:
Private practice seeking an exceptional optician who is reliable focuses on delivering outstanding patient experiences.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Educate and recommend the best lenses, lens treatments, and frames for patients.
- Accurately collect measurements.
- Ordering lenses from the lab.
- Filing insurance claims.
- Final inspection of lab work and notifying patients that their order is ready.
- Perform repairs and adjustments of glasses.
Requirements:
- Experienced and skilled in the optical field.
- Computer literacy includes strong typing/data entry skills, EHR Knowledge.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Friendly, honest, self-motivated, and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Mathematics.
- Strong organizational skills.
- ABO certification is preferred, but not necessary.
